The EPMA Powder Metallurgy Innovation Awards are open to any new product or service delivering cost saving, improved quality, enhanced sustainability and stimulation of further adoption of PM technology.

Building on the legacy of the EPMA PM Component Awards, these awards now encompass not only to parts but may be also won by success stories in materials (e.g. alloys and powders), equipment (presses, furnaces…), processes (new powder fabrication or consolidation variants). Any kind of innovation in one or more topics listed below is welcome.

  • Components made by any PM process such as Press&Sinter, Additive Manufacturing, Metal Injection Moulding, Hot Isostatic Pressing, FAST/SPS
  • Materials developed for any PM process (including also Hard and Superhard Materials, Functional Materials, etc.)
  • Any process implementation that serves for an improvement in cost, quality and sustainability.
  • Equipment designed and built for the PM industry
